The Operations Director is responsible for the effective organisation of the company. They have a direct line to the office team, rentals team and operations team. A team player with excellent communication skills, the Operations Director supports the organisation in its further development and helps the management team grow. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role. The Operations Director reports to the Creative Director and replaces him in his absence. Activities: Planning and Strategy: - Develops and implements operational strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with the overall business strategy. Departmental Management: - Manages the Office, Operations and Rental departments. - Monitors the content of department job descriptions and adjusts as needed. Process Management: - Oversees and improves operational processes to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. - Identifies bottlenecks, streamline procedures. - Oversees stock tracking and machine maintenance - Curates the design and implementation of an updated IT system - Oversees maintenance of current computer systems - Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to operations. Implement measures to ensure workplace safety and security. - In cooperation with department managers carries out safety and risk assessment on an annual basis.

Facilities: - Looks for creative ways to upgrade current offices, facilities and specialise equipment/ spaces together with department managers. - Oversees maintenance of the building and equipment in the warehouse with the Facilities coordinator. - Investigates simple ways to make the company greener and more energy efficient. - Oversees management of the fleet. Oversee the design and construction of new studio buildings: - Arranges permits. - Review plans from architect and get feedback from staff. - Finalises plans together with the CEO. - Oversees construction work. Rentals: - Manages rental team. - Assists in creating and implementing a clear marketing plan for the rentals department together with the rentals supervisor. - Assists in curating a rentals web shop. - Signs off on expenditure of new rental items, and refurbishments. Relationship Management: - Manages relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external stakeholders where applicable. - Oversees relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiates contracts and ensures timely delivery of goods and services. Additional Information: - This position may require occasional travel. - Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate operational needs.
