Infrastructure Integration Specialist

About the job
As Infrastructure Integration Specialist, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team that integrates the products from different teams in the organization. The development teams are responsible for the entire development chain – requirements analysis, design, development, product integration, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product. As Infrastructure Integration Specialist you are responsible for seamlessly integrating our software products into different projects. You work closely with our teams of infrastructure and software specialists to ensure that our solutions meet the specific needs of each customer. You are a bridge builder between different teams, technologies and ensures a smooth implementation of our software in various environments with focus on the Operating System (RHEL), infrastructure, IT security and networking products. The software we are currently developing will run sometimes up to 30 years on a navy ship. Your tasks will be:

• Analyzing project requirements and technical specifications.
• Design and implement software integration solutions into customer projects.
• Collaborate with software developers and infrastructure teams.
• Testing and validating integrated systems.
• Analyze problems with pinpoint precision and solve these together with the development teams.
• Document integration processes and procedures.
• From the engineering department you will support the on- and offsite testers in the IVVQ department.

About you
Do you have a passion for technology, enjoy constantly developing your skills, have a passion for troubleshooting with a can-do mentality and are you interested in working on Naval systems? Then you are the person we are looking for. 

You are a talented person who enjoys collaborating with a team of integration and test specialists. You enjoy personal development both in hard skills and human skills. 
Relevant experiences are:

• Linux (3 years), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) mandatory or equivalent. 
• Ansible (3 years), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) preferred.
• Network technologies (3 years), CCNA mandatory or equivalent.
• Experience with relevant security engineering or operational experience.
• Experience with a number of the following tools and technologies: Git based source control systems, CI/CD tooling, Container technology.
• Preferably experience with Agile methodologies, including appropriate tooling (e.g. Jira).
• Agile methodologies.
• You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management or comparable. Your colleagues are recognized experts in the field and will help you get up to speed and Thales will gladly invest in your development. 
• An important requirement to fulfil this role, is flexibility and the ability to communicate fluently in English to all types (technical, management) of stakeholders.
