In this role you will be responsible for the Dutch organisation, being part of a mid size heavy industry company. This job is your chance to lift the company to their next phase. The purpose of the position is to direct the organization’s business and to implement effective regional strategies and programs in collaboration with the regional vice president. For that reason, anticipation and communication is key in this position. In this position you are responsible to define actions, policies according to the group business plan. You will prepare and execute the annual budget (including managing operational costs) and coordinate the (daily) business operation. Clients are important, so you make sure that excellent service is offered. On  the other hand employees are as important, so you will motivate, monitor and train managers and staff.  - Research and identify business opportunities. - Depending on the needs of the company, the incumbent of the position could be assigned other tasks within his or her skills and competencies, for which he or she would be trained if necessary; - Hiring and training employees; - Developing staff; - Improve services. Requirements  Education and experience - Degree in business management, engineer or a master’s in business administration; - High experience in industrial or/and civil constructions environment; - Good knowledge of different business functions; - Good understanding of both Dutch & English language. Soft Skills - Strong relationship qualities and decision- making ability. - Excellent communication skills. - Highly organized. - Good interpersonal skills. - Proactive nature establishing a highly motivational works environment and implementing changes.
