There are different fields in which the company operates, for example - Concept studies before a aircraft is designed, a concept study is done by selecting different structural scenarios and determining the weight savings potentials/costs to obtain an optimal aircraft - (Re) Design phase In this phase the aircraft is designed and must comply with the airworthiness regulations. Off course it is essential that the design is optimal in different areas, such as weight, costs, maintenance, etc. - Certification phase Before an aircraft can be used by operators, it must be certified. In this phase it will be proved that the different components will comply with all the regulations. - Aircraft Life Extension Programs. Operators are operating their aircraft beyond the original certified life. has therefore launched several programs including renewed full scale fatigue tests to extend the lives of these aircraft. is the main subcontractor for Germany to support these tasks.
