ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the new Senior Breeder Pepper, you will take part in the South Europe Pepper Breeding program and report to in . You will be responsible for developing new pepper varieties through accurate data analysis. Your new varieties are aimed to serve the global market place, your varieties will be sold in all the corners of the globe. You are up to date on the latest biotechnology techniques and will to integrate them into the pepper breeding program. Working together with other pepper breeders and breeding leader is essential, as well as close collaboration with the commercial team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Play key role in the Pepper breeding program in

- Develop and create competitive pepper varieties aimed to conquer different market segments

- Work closely with fellow breeding leads & breeders worldwide

- Work closely together with commercial team

REQUIREMENTS

- MSc or PhD in Plant breeding or related field

- Minimum of years experience in commercial Plant breeding

- You are a strong breeder with the associated personality traits - e.g. result driven, creative, analytical

- Fluent in English (Spanish is a pre)
