- For in we are looking for a ''Life cycle assessment'' expert with experience in working on sustainability and circularity issues. You will become part of the team of the research group , Air & , in the unit Circular Economy & Environment. This team applies state-of-the-art -methodologies for assessing sustainability of (plastic) products, various processing technologies (sorting, mechanical recycling, chemical recycling) and value chains & networks. Furthermore, this team develops and improves current -methods to take into account circularity, recycling, litter (rivers, oceans), biomass - land use, etc. Finally, the team is working on a decision-support platform for plastics circularity. This team works for governments and companies in various projects, large and small. You will play a role in these projects, and also in the acquisition of new projects. It is important to weigh up and provide insight into the consequences of changes in, for example, (innovative) production techniques and raw materials for environmental pressure and sustainability. One of the tools you will use is the Life Cycle Analysis method, which will be extended to a sustainable portfolio management system. For analyzes and assessments you will, among other things, use the "Environmental Performance Assessment Method for Construction Works".
